Shake, Spray and Slay

Beach wave season is here. I know we all can’t spend our summer days on the beach living it up. If you are wanting to get that beach wave look, We have everything you need to make your own sea salt spray. It’s very likely that you already have everything on hand to make it. Minus the coconut oil, You may not know about its awesomeness just yet. If you don’t have any undefined coconut oil now is a good time to grab some.

Natural looking beach waves

All you need is sea salt spray to mist your hair and give it that beach queen look. You will need to mix the following ingredients in a spray bottle. Give the spray bottle a good shake until everything is mixed and the sea salt has dissolved. Use your favorite essential oil for fragrance, Give eucalyptus a try. Won’t regret it. Apply it to you hair after it’s been towel dried.

  • 1 tablespoon of sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon of melted unrefined/organic coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of hair gel or leave-in hair conditioner
  • 1 cup of warm water

  • For the days when you want the beach wave look, But don’t want to make your own spray try this lifesaver. Sea salt sprays can retail for up $24.00 a bottle. This one can be picked up for less that $5.00 it does the job very well! You can add additional gel if you need more hold.

  • Try using a texturizing shampoo to help perfect your beach waves. It’s also a great shampoo to use to wash off your beach wave spray!  Verb Sea Shampoo and Pacifica Salty Waves are great products that leave your hair looking like you just left the playa.
